Avoid Hard, Sticky and Chewy Candies
You don’t want an emergency Halloween visit to an Orthodontist. Sticky foods get trapped in the braces and then end up pulling off the wire and brackets leaving them loosened. Also, hard candies will break the wire and brackets of your braces when in your attempt crush them. Some of the hard foods to avoid are nuts, jelly beans, hard pretzels, and lollipops.
Treat Yourself to Braces-Friendly Candy

Provided you take braces-friendly foods and avoid sticking your braces into the candy that is hardy, chewy and sticky, you’ll just be okay. Go right ahead have soft cookies, crab cakes, pie, pizza, donuts, soft meatballs, and beans. The secret is in moderation.
Brush and Floss Right after a Halloween Evening
